Gratitude - May Word of the Month

gratitude-c.gifGratitude is Empoword’s first Word of the Month. We are especially grateful that it is finally spring here in Minnesota. We are grateful for green grass, buds on the trees and longer days. And, of course, we are grateful for all the wonderful mothers in our lives.

What are you grateful for this month?

  1. Dolly Parton in sequins singing at Northrup Hall, orange ginger cookies - I am thankful that the goofiest, tiniest things can fill me with divinity. I love the days when it happens, like yesterday, and find that even when it’s not spontaneous, it does the heart good to “practice gratitude”, even when it’s a spiritual rainy day… especially when it’s a spiritual rainy day.

Gratitude is a word that opens a whole world. These days I have deep gratitude for the friends who support, guide, ground, empower and delight me on this incredible journey of life. And I am grateful that the spirit of creativity and passion lives in Stephanie and Wendy.

Gratitude: I believe if you set the intention to experience - to be present in - every moment of every day with a gracious spirit; that you and the world around you are transformed. Understanding that every moment of every day may not be what you expect or choose is challenging. However, it is your life! Live it with gratitude!
